Our interior design designer-for-a-day service allows us to act as your trusted sounding board for all design decisions, big and small and is tailored to your project needs.

It could be going shopping together to introduce you to the best retail shopping partners in the area for new furniture and accessories, or it might include reviewing samples you have gathered for a remodel or home update you are working on. Alternatively, if you are just beginning the selection process on a home renovation or new build, we can spend time at our Dallas showroom looking at samples and finishes of every kind to relieve you from having to make every design decision alone.

We will help you make selections, and you will leave with a detailed shopping list to complete the purchases yourself. This service is perfect for people who don’t need full-service design, but still want expert advice and a more custom designed space.

Meet Lori Withey

Interior designer & owner

From an early age, Lori had a passion for drawing, sketching and painting. After a successful career in the corporate world and time as a stay at home mom, it was an interior design magazine that reignited her passion for beautiful interiors.

Lori, along with her husband, has raised two daughters and their beloved wire hair dachshund rescue of 14 years, Rexy—also known as Lori's shadow and the beloved 5th member of their family!

When should we hire an interior designer?

To minimize delays, streamline communication, and create a more thoughtful, cohesive interior design, we recommend hiring our interior design team from the very beginning of your new build or remodel project. This often prevents the need to spend additional funds to make changes when you are further into the process.

How much do your interior design services cost?

Our interior design pricing entirely depends on the size and complexity of your project. We will, however, provide an estimated budget based on your needs charged at an hourly rate.

How do you work within a client's budget?

We have relationships with many vendors from all price points. Once your budget is completed we will source furnishings for your interior design which fit your budget and there are no surprises. All of our furnishings and build materials come from reputable high-quality vendors.

Do you purchase & install all furnishings?

Yes, we do! Many interior designers don’t specialize in furnishings and procurement, but we do. You won’t have to worry about going shopping, setting up your new table or hanging window coverings, we take care of this for you.

Can we purchase & install our own furnishings?

When you hire Bellisa Design for a full-service project, all furnishings for your home or business will be purchased through us. If you hire Bellisa Design as a designer for a day to help you make product and furniture selections, you will be provided with a shopping list to make all purchases yourself.

Where do you order your products from?

We work closely with a list of trusted vendors to source unique furnishings, materials, and products for our projects.

Do you do architectural work?

Bellisa Design provides elevations and 3D renders for designs recommended. We will also make suggestions on moving walls or making other major changes and will work with architects and contractors as appropriate. Working closely with the General Contractor, Bellisa Design will ensure plans are executed to every detail and to the highest standards.

Do you offer services for automation and audio/video for residential and commercial spaces?

Yes, we do! Bellisa Design is closely partnered with a smart technology and automation company and has worked for many years incorporating automation into our interior designs for both commercial and residential projects. Some of the most common requests are for automated window coverings and automated lighting scenes. Something very exciting now is automation capabilities available in kitchen appliances and the ability to integrate those with a new or existing automation system to further simplify day-to-day life.

"I’ve worked with designers before who tried to push their own tastes on me and run up costs. Lori is 100 percent ethical and moral. We worked together on three homes over the years, including a total home renovation. On that project, she revised the architectural plans to add one more much-needed bathroom. Lori has a great capacity for listening and takes my ideas and makes them so much better. Like creating an equestrian-themed, cozy, Ralph Lauren-inspired study with gorgeous iron horse sculptures above the fireplace. She recommends ways to bump things up a notch without breaking the bank, like the beautiful, durable top-notch carpeting in our family retreat room. She designed the walk-in closet of my dreams, complete with leopard print carpeting, for a fraction of the cost of a commercial closet designer.
